Abstract
© 2018 EDIZIONI MINERVA MEDICA. The Budd-Chiari Syndrome (BCS) is a hepatic disease caused by occlusion of the hepatic veins that drain the liver. In this review we tried to give a definition and classification of BCS, as well as to provide details about its epidemiology and etiology. The management and the prognosis of the disease were explained as well.
