Abstract
For pediatricians to recognize when there is medical concern, it is very important to have a basic understanding of what to expect for typical development and evidence-based definitions and criteria for flagging growth concerns. In this article, we review basic terminology such as growth faltering, malnutrition, short stature, macrocephaly, and microcephaly to provide a quick reference guide.
