Abstract
In December 2019 in Wuhan, China the first SARS-CoV-2 and the COVID-19 were reported (Rader et al., 2020) Since this time, COVID-19 has spread all across the globe while causing an increase of morbidity and mortality cases (Rader et al, 2020). Governments across the United States and globally have instilled various methods in an attempt to curb the transmission of the virus including mask wearing and social distancing (Rader et al, 2020).
Despite the widespread of mandates and absence of a vaccine, the efficacy of face masks and social distancing have been highly debated. This study aims to identify the settings and characteristics of adherence non-adhearance which could potentially address the gap in knowledge regarding government policy and their respective mandates.
