Abstract

The purpose of this research is to assess and evaluate how domestic violence impacts women´s mental health in Varanasi, India. This reaserch resulted in the identification of 12 factors that influenced the survivors´s ability to meet the requirements in the definition of mental health. As a result of these 12 factors, it was concluded that the survivor´s mental health was adversely affected by the domestic violence they faced.
