Abstract

Latnix Migrant Farmworkers in North Carolina face a variety of occupational hazards while working in the fields. These hazards include exposure to the natural elements, pesticides, and tobacco. Sub standard housing conditions and lack of comprehensive workers compensation coupled with these hazards create an extremely dangerous working environment for these farmworkers.
