Free virtual event

The Medical Institutional Repositories in Libraries (MIRL) Symposium planning committee would like to thank all presenters and attendees who participated in the 2022 symposium! Medical Institutional Repositories in Libraries (MIRL) is a free event that brings together IR practitioners and those with an interest in IRs at hospitals, academic medical centers, and other health settings for discussions and sharing of case studies and best practices for digital archiving of institutional content. We look forward to another great symposium in 2023!

2023 Plenary Session: "IRs in the Medical Landscape: A conversation with library leaders". The landscape for medical institutional repositories (IRs) is diverse and evolving. MIRL 2023 kicks off this year’s symposium with a plenary panel of health sciences library directors from around the U.S. discussing their various perspectives on how IRs and IR services contribute and support their institutions’ goals. The aim of this plenary session is to set the stage for the symposium and inspire interesting and constructive conversation within the medical IR community. More information about the panel is forthcoming.

Please contact Steven Moore for any questions about about MIRL.
